adMare Academy Opens Applications for Cohort VII of its Executive Institute

Vancouver (BC), Toronto (ON), and Montreal (QC) (June 11, 2024) – The adMare Academy is pleased to open applications for Cohort VII of its Executive Institute and invites senior executives working in life sciences companies across Canada to apply. The Executive Institute is at the forefront of addressing Canada's talent shortage by empowering established and emerging biotech leaders with the critical skills and insights required for the sector's growth and innovation. Across six previous cohorts, the program has developed 112 leaders, positively impacting 106 distinct life sciences organizations across Canada.

“With the Executive Institute now entering the seventh cohort, it has been inspiring to connect with program alumni and hear their stories of how they continue to draw on and utilize skills learned in the program while leading their teams and organizations,” said Kristy Lonergan, Senior Director of the adMare Academy. “The opportunity to engage with individuals possessing diverse expertise within the cohort, yet also from Canada’s life sciences community, has proven invaluable for the participants, particularly for new entrepreneurs seeking to establish and scale their business here in Canada.”

Over the span of 8 months, this program includes in-person and virtual workshops, executive coaching, and several online learning modules. The strength of the Executive Institute is built on the collaborative efforts of numerous current and past partners. We especially acknowledge Bloom Burton and BIOTECanada for their ongoing support in welcoming participants to their events, fostering invaluable connections and learning opportunities.

The adMare Academy seeks to better support equity, diversity, and inclusion in the Canadian life sciences sector by creating opportunities for equity-deserving groups. It is also committed to addressing issues of gender disparity in leadership positions.

If you are an executive working in a Canadian life sciences company and you are interested in developing your leadership skills alongside other leaders in the industry, adMare invites you to apply to Cohort VII of the Executive Institute before July 22, 2024. Additional details and the program application form can be found on the adMare website.
