Scientist (BIS) Programs
BioInnovation Scientist (BIS) Programs provide online training that empowers early-career professionals with the fundamental knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the Canadian life sciences industry. Our programs provide an overview of the drug discovery and development process, as well as insights into the commercial realities and challenges of developing successful therapeutic products.

Programs
Our programs are open to individuals interested in a career in the life sciences industry, either currently employed or working/training in academia, with a view to transitioning to commercial organizations.
Priority will be given to participants residing in Canada.
BIS Program:
Foundations
This program is designed for graduate students or individuals with at least a B.Sc. or equivalent degree and some research experience interested in pursuing or already employed in roles in biopharma R&D and innovation.

4-8 hours per week - Cost
$250 + gst - Delivery
Virtual, cohort model - Live online peer discussion groups
3 (required) - Live webinars with industry expert
3 (required) - Certificate of Completion:
Yes. Issued following completion of all assigned content and participation in the 3 peer discussion groups and 3 live webinars by the program closure date.
BIS Program:
Industry Essentials
This program is designed for CÉGEP, college, and university students as well as individuals new to biopharma without a background in independent scientific research who are interested in roles that support innovation or are adjacent to R&D.

$175 + gst - Delivery
Virtual, cohort model - Live online peer discussion groups

Yes. Issued following completion of all assigned content by the program closure date. Participation in the live webinar is optional but recommended.
The program fees support adMare’s ability to offer these programs and help to cover some of the costs associated with the curriculum and program delivery.
Limited number of participants per cohort.
Closed captioning available for video content, and transcripts of video content provided in English and French.
